Ingredients

  • 1 pound (450 g) ground chicken
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, olive oil, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
  3. Lightly wet your hands and divide the mixture into four equal portions. Shape into evenly thick round patties.
  4. Lightly grease the air fryer basket and arrange patties in a single layer without touching.
  5. Air fry for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Let the patties rest for 5 minutes to allow carryover cooking to bring them to 165°F (74°C) before serving.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the chicken mixture to keep patties tender.
  • Wetting your hands helps prevent sticking while shaping.
  • Always use a meat thermometer to ensure safe doneness.
  • Store cooled patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Freeze cooked or uncooked patties for up to 3 months with parchment paper between layers.
