Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 5.3 oz plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Greek yogurt glaze dip

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional traditional glaze

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix self-rising flour and Greek yogurt until a shaggy dough forms. Transfer to a floured surface and knead until smooth.
  3. Divide dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each into a small ball.
  4. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  5. Brush each dough ball with the cinnamon mixture, coating all sides well.
  6. Place coated dough balls in a single layer in the air fryer basket (use parchment or silicone liner if desired).
  7. Air fry for 8–10 minutes until golden and fluffy inside.
  8. Meanwhile, mix Greek yogurt, powdered sugar (or maple syrup), and vanilla to create the glaze dip.
  9. Serve cinnamon roll bites warm with glaze dip on the side or drizzle with optional traditional glaze.

Notes

  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for a richer flavor.
  • To make self-rising flour: mix 1 cup all-purpose flour with 1½ teaspoons baking powder and ¼ teaspoon salt.
  • Add nutmeg or cardamom for extra warmth in the cinnamon mix.
  • Serve fresh for best texture, but they reheat well in the air fryer.
