Ingredients

  • 1 medium head fresh cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Wash the cauliflower thoroughly, pat dry, and cut into evenly sized florets.
  2. Place the florets in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss well to coat evenly.
  3. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, and salt.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the cauliflower and toss until all florets are evenly coated.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes if required.
  6. Arrange the cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding. Cook in batches if needed.
  7. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crisp-tender.
  8. Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the basket to ensure maximum crispiness.
  • Pat cauliflower dry thoroughly before coating to prevent sogginess.
  • For gluten-free, use gluten-free breadcrumbs or substitute almond flour.
  • For a keto version, replace breadcrumbs with almond flour.
  • Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3–5 minutes to restore crispiness.
