Ingredients

1 lb chicken tenders

4 tablespoons butter, melted

3 tablespoons honey

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
  4. Toss or brush the tenders with half of the honey butter garlic mixture.
  5. Place chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overlapping.
  6. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp should reach 165°F/75°C).
  7. Remove from air fryer and immediately toss with remaining honey butter garlic sauce.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Add chili flakes or sriracha for a spicy twist.
  • Use maple syrup instead of honey for a richer flavor.
  • For extra crispiness, lightly coat chicken in seasoned panko before air frying.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat in air fryer for best texture.
  • Chicken breasts sliced into strips can be used in place of tenders.
