Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1012 small flour or corn tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy and well combined.
  3. Warm tortillas in the microwave for 10–15 seconds to make them pliable.
  4. Spoon 2–3 tablespoons of filling into each tortilla and roll tightly into taquitos.
  5. Place taquitos seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops lightly with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve hot with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.
