Ingredients
- 4 hoagie rolls (hinged, sliced but connected)
- 8 slices deli ham (~8 oz)
- 8 slices hard salami (~8 oz)
- 8 slices roast beef or 1 cup cooked ground beef (~8 oz)
- 20 slices pepperoni (~4 oz)
- 8 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pickled banana peppers or pepperoncini slices
- 1/2 cup sautéed onions (from 1 medium onion)
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.
- Slice rolls lengthwise, keeping one side hinged.
- Layer each roll with 2 slices ham, 2 slices salami, 2 slices roast beef (or scoop of ground beef), and 5 slices pepperoni.
- Top each sandwich with 2 slices cheese, banana peppers, and sautéed onions.
- Close rolls gently and place on prepared sheet.
- Mix melted butter with Italian seasoning; brush tops of rolls.
- Cover with foil and bake 10–15 minutes until cheese melts and sandwiches are heated through.
- Uncover and bake 2–3 minutes more until tops are golden and slightly crisp.
- Serve hot.
