Ingredients

  • 5 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips (or vanilla almond bark)

  • Red gel food coloring
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes

Instructions

  1. Place the Rice Chex cereal into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Melt white chocolate in the microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Stir in peppermint extract and add red gel food coloring to desired shade.
  4. Pour melted chocolate over cereal and gently fold to coat evenly.
  5. In a large zip-top bag, combine powdered sugar and crushed candy canes.
  6. Add coated cereal to the bag and shake until well coated.
  7. Spread mixture on parchment paper to cool and set for 10–15 minutes.
