Ingredients

  • 500 g cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 120 g beef pepperoni slices
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Lightly grease a casserole dish.
  2. Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, combine tortellini with marinara sauce, pizza sauce, olive oil, oregano, basil, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix gently.
  4. Spread half the tortellini mixture in the dish. Top with half the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses and half the pepperoni.
  5. Repeat with remaining tortellini mixture, cheese, and pepperoni.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 10–15 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

  • Add vegetables like mushrooms or bell peppers for extra flavor.
  • Substitute pepperoni with halal chicken sausage or omit for vegetarian version.
  • Double the cheese layer for extra richness.
