Ingredients

  • ⅔ cup butter, melted
  • 1⅓ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup Reese’s Pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 11 x 13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
  5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  7. Sprinkle the Reese’s Pieces over the top, pressing them in gently.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the top is set and lightly golden.
  9. Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before lifting out and slicing into squares.

Notes

  • Use natural peanut butter only if it’s well-stirred and not overly oily or dry.
  • For more Reese’s flavor, fold in an extra ½ cup of Reese’s Pieces before baking.
  • Let brownies cool fully for clean slicing.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
  • Reheat individual brownies in the microwave for 10–15 seconds to soften.
