  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour
  • oil for frying
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • jalapeños
  • green onions or chives

Instructions

  1. Prepare fries by baking or frying until golden and crispy.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cornflour, then fry until crispy and cooked through.
  3. In a pan, melt butter and add flour, cooking for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk until thickened, then add cheese and stir until smooth.
  5. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, yogurt, garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make the garlic sauce.
  6. Arrange fries on a serving plate and top with cooked chicken.
  7. Drizzle cheese sauce followed by garlic sauce.
  8. Garnish with jalapeños and chopped green onions, then serve immediately.

Notes

  • Bake chicken instead of frying for a lighter version.
  • Add chili flakes or hot sauce for extra spice.
  • Use mozzarella with cheddar for a stretchier cheese sauce.
  • Reheat fries in an oven or air fryer to keep them crispy.
  • Best served immediately for optimal texture.
