Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup dry white cake mix, heat-treated
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract (optional)
  • ¾ cup Christmas sprinkles (red and green jimmies or confetti)
  • Extra Christmas sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
  3. Stir constantly until melted, smooth, and glossy. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in heat-treated cake mix, vanilla extract, and almond extract (if using) until smooth.
  5. Gently fold in Christmas sprinkles, avoiding overmixing to prevent color bleeding.
  6. Pour mixture into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Top with extra sprinkles and press gently into the surface.
  8. Refrigerate for 2–3 hours until firm.
  9. Once set, lift fudge from pan using parchment, cut into squares, and serve or gift.

Notes

  • Heat-treat cake mix by microwaving it in a bowl for 1 minute, stirring halfway through.
  • Jimmies or confetti sprinkles are best to prevent bleeding.
  • Add a pinch of salt to balance sweetness, if desired.
  • Do not overheat chocolate or it may seize—use low heat only.
  • Store fudge chilled for best texture and freshness.
