Ingredients

  • Pizza Dough:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Cinnamon Sugar Spread:
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup old fashioned oats
  • 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • Cream Cheese Glaze:
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 12-inch round pizza pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Add warm water and vegetable oil. Mix to form a soft dough and knead until smooth. Let rest for 20 minutes.
  3. Roll dough into a 12-inch circle and place on the prepared pan. Let rest for another 10 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, brown sugar, oats, and cinnamon. Spread over the dough, leaving a small border.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until crust is golden and topping is bubbling.
  6. While baking, make glaze: beat butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix until creamy. Warm slightly if needed for drizzling.
  7. Drizzle glaze over the warm pizza. Slice and serve.

Notes

  • Use store-bought pizza dough for a shortcut.
  • Add chopped nuts or diced apples before baking for variation.
  • Oats give texture, but can be omitted for a smoother topping.
  • Best served warm, but also tasty chilled.
