Ingredients

  • For the filling:
  • 200 g cooked shrimp, finely chopped
  • 150 g crab meat, drained
  • 120 g cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
  • For the bread bombs:
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (about 450 g), cut into 8 pieces
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • For the garlic butter topping:
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all filling ingredients and mix until creamy and well combined.
  3. Flatten each biscuit piece into a small circle. Add about 1½ tablespoons of filling and a pinch of shredded mozzarella in the center.
  4. Wrap dough around filling and pinch to seal tightly. Place seam-side down on the tray.
  5. Mix melted butter with minced garlic and parsley. Brush over each dough ball.
  6. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
  7. Brush with extra garlic butter if desired. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can use only shrimp or only crab if preferred.
  • Add chili flakes or paprika to the filling for extra heat.
  • Make smaller bombs for bite-sized party appetizers.
  • Seal edges well to avoid filling leaks during baking.
  • Best served fresh, but can be reheated in the oven for crispiness.
