Ingredients

  • 1 wheel (225 g / 8 oz) double-cream Brie cheese
  • ¼ cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • ¼ cup pecans, roughly chopped and lightly toasted
  • Zest from ½ medium orange
  • 1 tablespoon honey (plus more for drizzling, if desired)
  • Optional garnish: fresh or frozen cranberries, fresh rosemary sprigs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a small baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Place the Brie wheel in the dish and score the top rind in a crisscross pattern.
  3. Spoon cranberry sauce over the top, then sprinkle with toasted pecans.
  4. Add orange zest and drizzle with honey.
  5. Bake for 18–22 minutes, until cheese is warm and beginning to ooze.
  6. Garnish with fresh cranberries and rosemary, if using.
  7. Serve immediately with crostini, crackers, or sliced baguette.

Notes

  • Swap pecans for walnuts or slivered almonds.
  • Use maple syrup instead of honey for deeper flavor.
  • Substitute fig jam or raspberry preserves for cranberry sauce.
  • Omit nuts for a nut-free version and increase cranberry topping.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon or cayenne for extra warmth or spice.
