Ingredients

  • 8 ounces block feta cheese, drained
  • 3/4 cup plain whole-milk Greek yogurt
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus more for serving
  • 1 teaspoon Aleppo pepper or red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 23 tablespoons toasted pine nuts (optional)
  • 12 tablespoons crushed pistachios (optional)
  • Pita chips or pita wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Add feta, Greek yogurt, and lemon zest to a food processor fitted with a blade.
  2. Blend until mixture starts to smooth, then drizzle in olive oil while blending. Continue until creamy and fluffy.
  3. Transfer whipped feta to a serving plate and smooth the surface with a spoon. Create a small well in the center.
  4. Drizzle with more olive oil and top with Aleppo pepper, mint, parsley, and optional nuts.
  5. Serve immediately with pita chips, pita wedges, or fresh vegetables.
