Ingredients

1 tablespoon instant coffee

1 tablespoon granulated sugar

1 tablespoon hot water

Milk of choice (cold or hot)

Ice cubes (optional for iced version)

Instructions

  1. Combine equal parts instant coffee, sugar, and hot water in a bowl.
  2. Whisk vigorously using a hand mixer for 2–4 minutes or by hand for about 8 minutes until stiff, creamy peaks form.
  3. Fill a glass with milk (cold with ice or warmed).
  4. Dollop the whipped coffee mixture on top of the milk.
  5. Serve immediately and stir before drinking if desired.
