Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then mix with Alfredo sauce. Let sit briefly to absorb flavor.
  2. Lay a tortilla flat, spoon shrimp mixture into the center, and top with mozzarella cheese.
  3. Fold sides and roll tightly to form a burrito. Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.
  4. Dip each burrito in beaten egg, then roll in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry burritos in batches for 3–4 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm with extra Alfredo sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce to Alfredo for heat.
  • Use pepper jack or provolone instead of mozzarella for different cheese flavors.
  • Grill instead of fry for a lighter version.
  • Use small tortillas for bite-sized appetizers.
  • Add sautéed spinach or bell peppers for extra veggies.
