Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough, divided into 4 equal pieces
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, diced
  • 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine diced chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll each dough portion into a 6–8-inch circle with even thickness.
  3. Spoon the chicken Alfredo filling onto one half of each dough circle, leaving a 1-inch border around the edge.
  4. Fold the dough over to form a half-moon shape. Press edges firmly to seal and crimp with a fork if desired.
  5. Brush tops of calzones with olive oil.
  6. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Place calzones in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each. Cook in batches if needed.
  8. Air fry for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
  9. Remove and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if using.

Notes

  • Use room-temperature dough for easier rolling and sealing.
  • Do not overfill calzones to avoid leaks.
  • Add vegetables or different sauces to customize the filling.
  • Brush generously with oil for best browning.
  • Let calzones rest for 2–3 minutes before eating to avoid burning your mouth.
