Ingredients

  • 200 g dark chocolate (or milk chocolate if preferred)
  • 1 cup pistachios, shelled and unsalted
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate using a double boiler or microwave in short intervals, stirring until smooth.
  2. Line a small baking dish or mold with parchment paper.
  3. Pour half of the melted chocolate into the mold and spread evenly. Chill for 10–15 minutes until set.
  4. Blend pistachios in a food processor until finely ground.
  5. Add tahini, powdered sugar, honey, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix into a thick paste.
  6. Spread the pistachio mixture evenly over the chilled chocolate layer.
  7. Pour remaining melted chocolate over the filling and smooth the top.
  8. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until fully set.
  9. Remove from mold and cut into bars or squares.

  • Use milk chocolate for a sweeter flavor or dark chocolate for richness.
  • Add crushed pistachios on top for extra texture.
  • Flavor with rose water or orange blossom water for a floral note.
  • Substitute honey with maple syrup for a vegan version.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • Let sit at room temperature briefly before cutting to prevent cracking.
