Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails (56 oz each)
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the lobster: Using kitchen scissors, cut the top of each lobster shell lengthwise. Gently lift the meat and rest it on top of the shell, keeping it attached at the base.
  2. Make garlic butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, pepper, and chili flakes (if using).
  3. Coat the lobster: Brush the garlic butter generously over the lobster meat.
  4. Cook the lobster:
    • To broil: Place on a baking sheet and broil 8–10 minutes, or until meat is opaque and lightly browned.
    • To bake: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and bake for 12–14 minutes, or until cooked through.
  5. Serve: Brush with remaining garlic butter, sprinkle with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Ensure lobster tails are fully thawed before cooking for the best texture.
  • Cold-water lobster tails offer the sweetest flavor.
  • Don’t overcook — lobster is done when opaque and firm, around 140–145°F (60–63°C).
