Ingredients

  • 1/2 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 2 pounds steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter or ghee
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Green onion, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut steak into 1-inch cubes and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add avocado oil, and cook the steak in a single layer for 3–4 minutes until browned, stirring occasionally. Work in batches if needed, then remove steak from pan.
  3. Drain excess liquid from the skillet. Add butter or ghee and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Return steak to the skillet and cook for another 1–2 minutes, tossing to coat in garlic butter.
  5. Remove from heat, stir in parsley, garnish with green onion, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use top sirloin, ribeye, tenderloin, or New York strip for best results.
  • Add vegetables like zucchini, bell peppers, or onions for more flavor and color.
  • For a dairy-free version, use ghee instead of butter.
  • For extra spice, increase red pepper flakes or add cayenne pepper.
  • Leftovers reheat best in a hot skillet to keep the steak tender.
