Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips or finely chopped dark chocolate (dairy-free)
  • 1/4 cup tahini, well stirred
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons halawa (tahini halva), finely chopped
  • 1/8 teaspoon flaky sea salt
  • 12 mini paper muffin liners

Instructions

  1. Line a mini muffin tin or tray with 12 mini paper liners.
  2. Melt 3/4 cup of the dark chocolate in a microwave (15-second intervals) or double boiler until smooth.
  3. Spoon 1 teaspoon of melted chocolate into each liner and spread to coat the bottom. Freeze for 5–10 minutes to firm.
  4. Mix tahini and maple syrup in a bowl until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spoon 1 teaspoon of tahini mixture over the set chocolate layer in each liner.
  6. Sprinkle chopped halawa evenly on top of the tahini layer.
  7. Melt the remaining 1/4 cup of chocolate and spoon over the filling to cover.
  8. Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top of each cup.
  9. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until completely set.
