Ingredients

  • 6 cups apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  3. Use an immersion blender (or carefully transfer to a regular blender) to puree the mixture until smooth.
  4. Continue simmering the puree uncovered on low for 1–2 hours, stirring often, until thick, glossy, and spreadable.
  5. Let cool, then transfer to jars or containers for storage.
