Ingredients
500 g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 cups broccoli florets
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
¼ cup water
Instructions
Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for 5–7 minutes until cooked through and lightly golden.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in soy sauce, honey, and oyster sauce. Stir to coat the chicken.
Add broccoli florets and ¼ cup water. Cover and steam for 2–3 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
Remove from heat and serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
Chicken thighs can be used for a juicier texture.
Add extra vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
