Ingredients

  • 1 cup ripe mango chunks or 1/2 cup mango puree
  • 1/2 cup tapioca pearls (boba)
  • 1 cup brewed black or green tea, cooled
  • 1 cup milk or non-dairy milk of choice
  • 12 tablespoons sugar or sweetener (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook tapioca pearls in the Instant Pot according to package or IP directions (usually 2 minutes on high pressure, natural release).
  2. While the pearls cook, brew the tea and allow it to cool slightly.
  3. Blend mango chunks or puree with sugar until smooth.
  4. In a pitcher or bowl, mix mango puree, cooled tea, and milk to create the mango milk tea base.
  5. Drain cooked pearls and rinse under cold water.
  6. To assemble, add boba pearls to glasses, fill with ice, and pour mango milk tea over the top.
  7. Stir well and serve immediately with wide straws.
