  • 8 slices white sandwich bread
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Remove crusts from bread and flatten each slice with a rolling pin.
  2. Spread about 1 tablespoon of Nutella on each slice, leaving a small border.
  3. Roll each slice tightly into a log and seal the edges.
  4. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter.
  6. Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, coating all sides.
  7. Place roll-ups seam-side down in the skillet.
  8. Cook for 2–3 minutes, turning until all sides are golden and crispy.
  9. Remove from pan, cool slightly, and serve.

Notes

  • Do not soak roll-ups too long to avoid sogginess.
  • Roll tightly to prevent unrolling during cooking.
  • Add fruits like banana or strawberry for variation.
  • Coat in cinnamon sugar for a churro-style finish.
  • Best served warm for gooey center texture.
