Ingredients

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk, divided
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 8 to 10 drops orange food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for lifting.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips, 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk, and 2 tablespoons butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Spread half of the vanilla mixture evenly into the prepared pan. Set aside the remaining half.
  5. To the reserved vanilla mixture, add the remaining sweetened condensed milk, 1 tablespoon butter, orange extract, and food coloring (if using).
  6. Microwave for 20–30 seconds until warm and smooth. Stir until fully combined and colored evenly.
  7. Pour the orange layer over the vanilla layer in the pan, smoothing the top.
  8. Refrigerate for 3–4 hours until firm.
  9. Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut into 1-inch squares with a sharp knife, wiping between cuts.

Notes

  • To swirl the layers instead of stacking, gently stir the two layers together before setting.
  • Add orange zest for natural citrus flavor.
  • Use a 9×9 pan for thinner pieces.
  • Microwave times may vary—melt until smooth but avoid overheating.
