Ingredients

  • 28 Oreos (regular, not double stuffed)
  • 150 g cream cheese (⅔ cup), firm block type, room temperature
  • 340 g dark chocolate melts (2 cups)
  • 56 g white chocolate melts (⅓ cup, optional for decorating)

Instructions

  1. Line a tray with baking paper and set aside.
  2. Crush Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
  3. Add cream cheese and mix with a hand mixer until just combined.
  4. Scoop heaped tablespoons of mixture onto the tray and roll into balls (makes about 12).
  5. Freeze for 15 minutes to firm.
  6. Melt dark chocolate in microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between.
  7. Dip each ball into melted chocolate, letting excess drip off, and place back on tray.
  8. Optional: Melt white chocolate and drizzle over the coated balls for decoration.
  9. Let chocolate set completely before serving.

Notes

  • Use milk or white chocolate instead of dark for a different flavor profile.
  • Add a few drops of peppermint extract for a minty twist.
  • Roll in crushed Oreos, coconut, or sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  • Try using flavored Oreos like red velvet or golden Oreos.
  • Use block cream cheese only—spreadable types may make the mixture too soft.
