Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies (about 400 g)
  • 225 g (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 340 g (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips or bars, chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pulse Oreos in a food processor into fine crumbs (or crush in a sealed bag with a rolling pin).
  2. In a bowl, combine Oreo crumbs, cream cheese, and vanilla. Mix until uniform.
  3. Roll into 1 tbsp-sized balls. Place on parchment-lined tray.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm.
  5. Melt chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  6. Dip chilled truffles in melted chocolate, coating fully. Tap off excess and return to tray.
  7. Let chocolate set at room temperature or in the fridge. Serve once hardened.

Notes

  • Use white or milk chocolate for different coating flavors.
  • Top with crushed Oreos, nuts, or sprinkles before chocolate sets.
  • Chill filling slightly if too soft to roll.
