Ingredients

  • 200g Brie cheese, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • ¼ cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for baking)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Fresh thyme (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix chopped pistachios and panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Dip each Brie cube into beaten egg, then roll in pistachio-panko mixture to coat.
  4. Place coated Brie cubes on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden and Brie is softened but not fully melted.
  6. Remove from oven, drizzle with honey, and garnish with fresh thyme if using.
  7. Serve immediately while warm and gooey.

Notes

  • Chill Brie slightly before cutting for cleaner cubes.
  • Use a mild honey like clover or acacia to complement the Brie.
  • Do not overbake or cheese may melt out of the crust.
  • Prepare ahead by coating Brie and refrigerating for up to 12 hours.
  • Air fry for 7–8 minutes at 180°C for a crispier result.
