Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 fresh mint leaves (preferably spearmint)
  • 4 to 5 thin cucumber slices (English cucumber preferred)
  • 2 to 3 thin ginger slices (fresh ginger root)
  • 1 pinch black salt
  • 1 pinch spice mix (blend of turmeric, cinnamon, and black pepper)
  • 240 to 300 ml cold filtered or bottled water
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place mint leaves, cucumber slices, and ginger slices into a glass or small pitcher.
  2. Sprinkle black salt and spice mix over the ingredients.
  3. Pour in 240 to 300 ml of cold water.
  4. Stir gently to mix and help dissolve the spices.
  5. Let sit for 10 to 15 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  6. Add ice cubes if desired, stir once more, and enjoy.
