Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 1 pre-made pizza dough, 12–14 inches
  • 23 cloves roasted garlic, mashed, or 1 tablespoon roasted garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, diced or shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for roasting garlic, if using fresh cloves)
  • 1/4 cup fresh spinach leaves (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons sliced red onion (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat.
  2. If roasting garlic, wrap cloves in foil with olive oil and roast at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until soft and golden. Mash into a paste.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and transfer to a baking tray or preheated stone.
  4. Mix the roasted garlic with heavy cream or Alfredo sauce. Spread over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  5. Top evenly with cooked chicken, mozzarella, Parmesan, and optional toppings (spinach, red onion, mushrooms).
  6. Sprinkle oregano or Italian seasoning over the top.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven, slice, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use Alfredo sauce for a richer flavor or heavy cream for a lighter option.
  • Don’t overload with sauce to avoid a soggy crust.
  • Precook vegetables with high water content (like mushrooms) to prevent excess moisture.
  • Use a blend of cheeses for extra depth of flavor.
  • Roasted garlic gives a mellow, sweet flavor—don’t skip it if possible.
