Ingredients

  • 1 cup tahini
  • 4 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 4 tablespoons raw honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt, plus more for topping

Instructions

  1. Line an 8 × 5 inch loaf pan with parchment or wax paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine tahini, cacao powder, melted coconut oil, raw honey, and vanilla extract.
  3. Mix thoroughly until smooth, glossy, and fully combined.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired.
  5. Pour mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the top with coarse sea salt.
  7. Freeze for about 1 hour, or until firm.
  8. Remove from freezer, lift out with parchment, and cut into small squares.
  9. Optionally, sprinkle more sea salt on top before serving.

Notes

  • Use cocoa powder instead of cacao for a milder chocolate flavor.
  • Substitute maple syrup for honey to make it vegan.
  • Keep fudge frozen to maintain texture—softens quickly at room temperature.
  • Optional mix-ins: shredded coconut or sesame seeds (in small amounts).
  • Can be doubled using a larger pan.
