Ingredients

  • 4 small boxes (3 oz each) flavored gelatin (cherry, orange, lemon, lime or other colors)
  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 cups boiling water (divided)
  • 2 cups cold water
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Lightly spray a 9×13-inch glass dish with non-stick spray.
  2. Dissolve the first flavored gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Stir well, then add 1/2 cup cold water.
  3. Pour into the prepared dish and refrigerate for 30–40 minutes until just set (not firm).
  4. Mix 1 envelope unflavored gelatin with 1/2 cup boiling water. Stir in half the condensed milk and another 1/2 cup hot water. Let cool to room temperature.
  5. Carefully pour about 3/4 cup of the creamy mixture over the first layer. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
  6. Repeat the process, alternating flavored gelatin layers and creamy layers until all 7 layers are complete. Allow each to set before adding the next.
  7. After the final layer, chill the dessert for several hours or overnight before slicing and serving.
