Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons natural-style peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce (or sriracha)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 packet (3 oz) instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packet)
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • ¼ cup boiling water (reserved from cooking the noodles)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Stir until a smooth paste forms.
  2. Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove ¼ cup of water and stir it into the peanut sauce to create a smooth, pourable consistency.
  3. Add the ramen noodles to the boiling water and cook for 2–3 minutes or until tender.
  4. Drain the noodles and return them to the pot with the heat off. Pour the peanut sauce over the noodles and stir to coat evenly.
  5. Serve immediately and garnish with sliced green onions.

Notes

  • Use natural-style peanut butter for the best flavor.
  • Reduce chili garlic sauce for a milder version.
  • Add lime juice for extra brightness.
  • Customize with your favorite vegetables or proteins.
  • Reheat with a splash of water to loosen the sauce.
