Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix spinach, mozzarella, cream cheese, parmesan, garlic, salt, pepper, and oregano until combined.
  3. Roll out puff pastry into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  4. Spread the spinach mixture evenly over the pastry, leaving a small border.
  5. Roll the pastry tightly into a log.
  6. Slice into pinwheels about 2 cm thick.
  7. Place on the baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and puffed.
  9. Cool slightly before serving.
