Ingredients

  • Cheesecake Layer:
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pudding Layer:
  • 1 (5.1 oz) box vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • For Assembly:
  • 1 box vanilla wafers
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • Crushed strawberry wafers (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks. Gently fold into the cream cheese mixture to form the cheesecake layer.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together pudding mix and cold milk until thickened (about 2 minutes). Set aside.
  4. In a trifle dish or large bowl, layer vanilla wafers, banana slices, chopped strawberries, cheesecake filling, and pudding.
  5. Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cheesecake or pudding on top.
  6. Garnish with extra strawberries and crushed strawberry wafers if desired.
  7. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Use lemon juice on bananas to prevent browning.
  • Substitute whipped topping for heavy cream if desired.
  • Homemade pudding can be used instead of instant.
  • Make individual servings in cups or jars for easy portioning.
  • Don’t freeze—texture will change due to pudding and fruit.
