Ingredients

12 ice cream sandwiches (vanilla, chocolate, or Neapolitan)

1 1/2 cups M&Ms (3/4 crushed, 3/4 whole for topping)

1/2 cup hot fudge, plus extra for drizzling

3 cups Cool Whip, thawed and divided

1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix

Instructions

  1. Crush about three-quarters of the M&Ms; set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 cup Cool Whip and the hot fudge until smooth.
  3. Stir in the dry pudding mix; mix for 2 minutes until fully blended.
  4. Fold in the crushed M&Ms.
  5. On a large piece of foil, arrange 4 ice cream sandwiches side by side.
  6. Spread half of the Cool Whip mixture over the sandwiches.
  7. Repeat with another layer of sandwiches, the remaining Cool Whip mixture, and a final layer of sandwiches.
  8. Frost the top and sides with the remaining Cool Whip.
  9. Sprinkle with remaining crushed M&Ms and press whole M&Ms into the top and sides.
  10. Wrap the cake loosely in foil and freeze for at least 4 hours.
  11. Before serving, drizzle with extra hot fudge or chocolate syrup.
