Ingredients

  • 12 ladyfingers
  • 1/2 cup freshly brewed espresso, cooled
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the espresso and let it cool to room temperature.
  2. Briefly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso without oversoaking.
  3. Place a layer of espresso-soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of each mini jar, breaking them to fit if needed.
  4. Add a layer of mascarpone cheese over the ladyfingers and smooth it gently.
  5. Spoon a layer of whipped cream over the mascarpone.
  6. Repeat the layers if the jars are tall enough.
  7. Dust the top layer generously with cacao powder.
  8. Cover and refrigerate the jars for at least 4 hours before serving.
