Ingredients

  • 2 packs buldak carbonara ramen
  • 1 small onion, finely sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 100 g turkey or beef bacon
  • 130 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 280 ml heavy cream
  • 40 g grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • Dried parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • Extra parmesan (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Meanwhile, bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the ramen according to package instructions (about 5 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. Add the turkey or beef bacon and sliced mushrooms to the pan. Cook for 2–3 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and add the ramen seasoning packets. Stir well to create a smooth sauce.
  5. Add the grated parmesan cheese and mix until fully melted and incorporated.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss until evenly coated with the sauce.
  7. Adjust the level of spiciness to your taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with dried parsley and extra parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • Reduce the spicy sauce for a milder version.
  • Add an egg yolk at the end for extra richness.
  • Swap bacon with chicken or shrimp for variation.
  • Add corn or bell peppers for sweetness and texture.
  • Mix in cream cheese for an even creamier sauce.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Add a splash of cream or milk when reheating to maintain texture.
