Ingredients

  • 1 (12-ounce) package pretzel rods
  • 1 (12-ounce) package white chocolate candy melts or almond bark
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening or coconut oil (optional, to thin chocolate)
  • 1/2 cup assorted sprinkles
  • Wax paper or parchment paper (for cooling)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with wax or parchment paper.
  2. Break pretzel rods in half to create smaller pieces, if desired.
  3. Melt white chocolate candy melts or almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Stir in shortening or coconut oil if needed to thin.
  4. Dip each pretzel halfway into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. Hold pretzel over a plate and sprinkle decorations onto the coated section.
  6. Place dipped pretzels onto the prepared baking sheet and allow to set at room temperature for 20–30 minutes until firm.
  7. Once fully hardened, package or serve as desired.

Notes

  • Use a second type of chocolate (dark or milk) to drizzle for contrast.
  • Avoid refrigerating the pretzels to prevent condensation or chocolate cracking.
  • Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 2 weeks.
  • Decorate based on theme or holiday using different sprinkle colors or toppings.
  • Use mini pretzels for bite-sized party snacks or mix-ins.
