Ingredients

  • 340 g (about 2 cups) white chocolate chips
  • 395 g (1 can) sweetened condensed milk
  • 30 g (2 tablespoons) unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Line an 20 x 20 cm (8 x 8 inch) square pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
  3. Stir constantly until completely melted and smooth. Do not raise the heat to avoid scorching the chocolate.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
  6. Let cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  7. Once firm, lift the fudge out using the parchment overhang and cut into 16 squares with a sharp knife.

Notes

  • Melt chocolate gently over low heat to avoid seizing.
  • Add-ins like chopped nuts, dried fruit, or crushed cookies can be stirred in before setting.
  • Use a hot, clean knife for smooth slices.
  • Let frozen fudge thaw in the fridge before serving for best texture.
