  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare shrimp by peeling and deveining if not already done.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

  6. Let simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  8. Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes if desired.
  9. Add lemon juice if using and stir well.
  10. Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overcook shrimp to avoid a rubbery texture.
  • Add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for variation.
  • Use half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
  • Serve with pasta, rice, or bread for a complete meal.
  • Add extra Parmesan to thicken the sauce if needed.
