Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon orange liqueur (optional)
  • For mix-ins:
  • 200 g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 100 g dark chocolate chips
  • For topping:
  • 2 tablespoons sea salt flakes
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest curls
  • 50 g melted dark chocolate
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line baking trays.
  2. Sift powdered sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.
  3. Mix in orange zest, juice, vanilla, and orange extract until thick.
  4. Whisk egg whites until frothy and fold into mixture.
  5. Fold in chopped chocolate and chocolate chips.
  6. Let batter rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Scoop onto trays, spacing evenly.
  8. Bake for 12–14 minutes until crackly on top.
  9. Cool for 10 minutes on tray.
  10. Drizzle with melted chocolate and add toppings.
