Ingredients

  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar (for apples)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line an 8-inch round cake pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk Greek yogurt and eggs until smooth.
  3. Add cornstarch, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt, and mix until lump-free.
  4. In a separate bowl, toss apple slices with cinnamon and powdered sugar.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  6. Arrange apple slices evenly on top.
  7. Bake for 55–60 minutes until edges are set and center slightly wobbly.
  8. Cool completely in the pan.
  9. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours to set the creamy texture.
  10. Sprinkle walnuts on top before serving if desired.
