Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients to form a smooth batter.
  5. Pour batter into prepared dish and spread evenly.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix pecans, brown sugar, melted butter, chocolate chips, and heavy cream.
  7. Spoon topping evenly over the batter.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes until edges are set and center remains slightly gooey.
  9. Cool for 10–15 minutes before serving.
