Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns, kept attached if possible
  • 6 slices deli turkey, halal-certified
  • 6 slices deli chicken, halal-certified
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar, for serving
  • 1/3 cup raspberry or strawberry jam, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the bottom buns connected if possible. Place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Layer the deli turkey evenly over the buns, then add the deli chicken slices. Place the Swiss cheese over the meat. Add the top half of the buns.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  5. Slowly pour the egg mixture evenly over the sliders, brushing some over the tops so the buns are coated. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired.
  6. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 10 to 12 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  9. Dust lightly with powdered sugar and serve warm with raspberry or strawberry jam on the side.

Notes

  • Use mozzarella or provolone instead of Swiss cheese for a milder flavor.
  • Add a thin layer of jam inside the sliders before baking for extra sweetness.
  • You can use only turkey or only chicken if preferred.
  • Brush the tops with extra melted butter after baking for a richer finish.
  • Serve with fresh fruit, eggs, or roasted potatoes for a brunch spread.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze baked sliders tightly wrapped for up to 2 months.
  • Reheat in a 325°F oven for best texture.
