Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (about 430 g)
  • 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 225 g cream cheese, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cups (480 g) powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Mix cake mix, melted butter, and egg until a thick dough forms.
  3. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  4. Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  6. Slowly mix in melted butter.
  7. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until smooth and thick.
  8. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the base and spread evenly.
  9. Bake for 40–45 minutes until edges are set and center remains slightly gooey.
  10. Cool completely before slicing and serving.
