Ingredients

  • 500 g beef (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced
  • 2 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil or butter.
  2. Add sliced onions and cook for 5–7 minutes until soft and slightly golden.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Increase heat to medium-high and add sliced beef.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Let the beef sear for 1–2 minutes without stirring.
  7. Stir and cook for another 2–3 minutes until beef is cooked through.
  8. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
