Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tablespoons almond flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons low-carb tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella (for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons diced halal beef pepperoni or cooked chicken pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt mozzarella and cream cheese for 60–90 seconds, stirring until smooth.
  3. Let cool slightly, then mix in egg, almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, oregano, and salt until a dough forms.
  4. Divide dough into small portions and roll into balls, then place on tray and flatten slightly.
  5. Add a small amount of tomato sauce to each piece.
  6. Sprinkle with extra mozzarella and top with pepperoni or chicken.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.
